Postgraduate Studies

I would like to be able to do a postgraduate course in art archeology as I said in the previous blog. The bad thing is that I do not know where I could do it, because I have only found out if there is something like that at the University of Chile and it does not have a postgraduate or master's degree in this area. But I've been thinking that maybe if I go abroad I could find something related. 

My great inspiration is a professor I have had in anthropology, Professor Flora Vilches, she went abroad to study and took studies related to art. I suppose that the best options would be the United States or if not Spain, some part of Europe. 

The type of study that I would like would be part time, in order to be able to work and study at the same time, I suppose that I go abroad with a university scholarship, one of those scholarships that if you work you have a home, food and a position to do the postgraduate. Also to be able to have time to visit part of that country, to which it will go, and to know more within its culture and traditions, to make friends and new labor relations in other parts of the world. 

There are a lot of things that I would like to do but first I have to get a degree and there I will see what can be done with it.

My future job

In the future I want to work as an archeologist in an art museum. I like museums too much. Last year about twice a month it took me a full day to visit new galleries and works that rotate in the different museums that are in downtown Santiago. 

On the other hand, I really like the subject of art, in any of its expresions, I am very passionate about the subject, so that's why it would be great to be able to work in this combination of areas. For this you need to study anthropology or archeology, and be able to get a specialty in these areas, both archive and art. Chances are that they ask for experience but I have faith that they do not ask, in order to acquire it. This would be an indoor job, but I wouldn't mind working as an archeologist outdoor, say on the ground. Or if I would not like to work in the field as an archaeologist in other areas. 

With this I want to be able to travel abroad within Latin America, such as Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, etc. And also to be able to discover new towns where the culture will probably be more different and interesting. I love so much studying different cultures!!!!

My favorite series

Hello everyone, my favorite series is Grey's Anatomy. I love this series because I fell in love with the characters and the plot, just as I really like series of this style as well as "Emergency room: unpublished history" and "Doctor house". I can see those series many times and I don't never get bored. The series seems to me to be of the drama genre since it is set within a hospital, the relationships that pass between the characters and at the same time carry diagnoses for their patients. This series has 15 seasons and I don't know how many episodes in total it has, but each season has around 20-30 chapters. My favorite character in the series is Callie Torres, she is not the protagonist but I love the character and how the actress Sara Ramírez interprets it.

I have seen the series twice complete, and now I am watching it again, I really like this theme of hospitals and dramas of this style. The same is not my only favorite series since I have seen many series and many times, so I also have other favorites but of a different genre. I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing something favorite, but this series I am currently watching every time I have time, it is not much but from time to time.

Quarantine activities

Hello everyone,

The truth is that I have been in quarantine for many months and I no longer remember when it was that I locked myself up by my own commitment and without quarantining my commune. Since I locked myself up to the shot because my mom works in a hospital, and obviously the virus was going to hit me faster than anyone else.

My quarantine has really been very bad, I have a hard time coping with anxiety and confinement, along with distancing myself from my family and friends. Many personal things happened to me in which I needed support from my friends and to be with that physical contact that we so much lack. Now with university I am still more stressed but the problems are less hahaha less bad. I have been able to watch many series and sleep a lot, in addition to talking to friends on social networks. I feel that now I am better but I still do not make sense of the routines that I carry out daily. Also, my dream changed, because I can only focus at night and not during the day, this online modality is complicated.

I could not lie and say that I have done many things this quarantine hahaha but well that is my reality and I hope that this storm will pass soon :(

My favorite concert

When I went to Canadá in the vacations of the year 2018, in August I went to a musical festival in Montreal. On that trip I went to my aunt and cousin who live there. I stay for a month there and in United States. The festival called Osheaga and it was 3 days where are many artist performed. There were many activities to do and many people from all countries. As soon as I arrived I realized that the place was very large and since I was with a cousin, we agreed on a meeting place. Then we separated for a while and toured, I felt so free but I was still afraid of losing myself. That day it was very hot but right on a stage there was electronic music with some devices that threw a lot of water, it was very cool. It was great to meet so many people and share with us. I only went two days but I can say the artist I most expected the queen of Dua Lipa. I remember that she would show up around 4 pm and it was 1 pm I was al ready at the front of the stage waiting for her while another band I didn´t know presented. Also other artists that I liked were Franz Ferdinand, Lauv, Arizona, Borns, James Bay, Post Malone and Florence + the machine. I love so much this experience and in the other country.

Blog 1: A country I would like to visit, 01/06/20

I would like go to Perú, because is one of the countrys most important for see a arqueologhycal monuments and pleaces. In this country are one of the most impressive ruins of the Inca empire. I know that they say this country is so cheap, seeing it from Chile. Really I am very interested in this topic and I want to see this place in live and direct jaja. And specifically I want to know the "Machu Picchu" wich is located in the Cusco region in Perú. I don't know if I would like to live ther because I have never been, but I want travel as much as I can and as long possible. Truly if we talk about studying or work I would like to do it in Spain.. because I like the atmosphere and they speak spanish, too I have parents there so is more easy for me but never I go to this place, so I really I don't know but anyway I would like to study there.
